After reading several of the reviews I blanched the green beans with a crushed clove of garlic and approximately one teaspoon of salt. After draining the beans I sprinkled some bacon crumbles along with the mushrooms and fried onions. It got rave reviews from the wife!

I used 3 cloves of garlic cooked them with the mushrooms. then added sallt , pepper , and poultry seasoning ( dried not ground. Then the green beans. Topped it off with the onions just before serving , so they wouldn't be soggy. Was a big hit !!!!!!

I made this green bean dish for Thanksgiving, because it seemed super simple and tasty. However, it was the most boring thing on my menu. I overcooked the green beans, which was my fault, but even still, it was just boring. It didn't make me want to eat it at all.
