Every guest I serve it to raves over it. I love to make it and find a nice light touch to finish a meal with.

Honestly, the worst thing I have ever made. I had such high hopes, but it is not worth the effort or time. My husband and I made it through the second bite and through the rest out.

We made this cake to follow a spaghetti dinner, and found that it was the perfect dessert.
It may be a while before we make it again, as it was a little involved, but I
will keep the recipe in a safe place.

My whole family loved this, I followed the directions exactly and had no problem. Definitely add the toasted coconut, it makes it even better. Will be making this again.

Very sweet and flavorful, but it is not like cake it is more of a souffle. It is very tasty and easy to make, it reminded me more of pie filling than pudding. I might try it again with more flour to make more of a cake consistency.

I accidentally used almost twice as much flour as the recipe called for so the pudding on the bottom came out pretty thick, but overall the flavor is good and the texture of the cake part is nice and light. Like a souffle, almost. Not as hard to make as it seems. Needs more coconut or some lime zest in my opinion (to counteract the kind of egg-y flavor it seems to have. Definitely worth trying again.

Made this the other night and this cake is really flipping good. The rich creamy pudding was down right yummy! Rich and Creamy with the zestiest lime flavor mixed with the rich creaminess of coconut!! -- Unforgettably Good --
Try tightly covering the cake with foil for 15-20 minutes then remove foil and bake the remaining time, the top will brown quickly once the foil is removed so keep an eye on it. The pudding and cake is perfect.
Baked/Steamed up nicely this way, my family loved it.

The cake part of this recipe was too thin in size compared tothe picture in the book. It did not look like the picture at all. It was more like a waffer thin layer of cake and the limeade sauce (which was quite good on the bottom drowned out the cake.

Okay so I have made this cake twice and it has come out both times looking like jello gone bad. It is not cake...it's sluge. I followed the recipe to a t and it's not my oven...I bake all the time.
