I first made this sauce a few months ago but didn't have anchovies. It was delicious without and has since become my favorite pairing with tilapia. I also tried it with anchovies, um....with or without works just fine. Myfavorite is tilapia, wild rice and broccoli or asparagus and the sauce is great to drizzle over green veggies.

This is incredibly easy to make and it is absolutely delicious! We don't normally eat a lot of fish because fish recipes tend to be kind of bland and boring but not this one. This is so extremely flavorful, it has become a staple in our house.

I LOVE fish, and the sauce in this recipe is welcome on my flaky white fish any time! My mom and husband scrunched their noses at the anchovies, but they ended up loving the final product. Thanks, Giada!

I really thought the flavors would work since I absolutely love all of the ingredients involved, but the flavors in the final product didn't mesh well together.

Don't freak out about the anchovies. The sauce is awesome. I doubled it because I had to use a pack of ten fillets (they were smaller than 6 oz. apiece,
covered them in sauce and baked at 350 degrees for about 15 mins. Didn't have time to fry in batches. Turned out a winner. Yummy!!

I had a guest come over and wasn't too sure how this was going to turn out. Especially with the anchovies, but boy was this a hit. There is only one little piece of fish left for me to have for lunch right now! I took the advice of others and did not add salt to the sauce, the anchovies did provide enough saltiness. My guest and roommate were quite impressed with this dish and couldn't get enough, this is officially my favorite tilapia recipe!

This recipe was easy to make and my family loved it. I'm not a big fan of anchovies and did not include them to the dish. Instead I added more lemon zest, OJ, Basil & EVOO. It was GREAT!!

My husband and I loooove seafood. As far as fish was concerned--we didnt try anything other than flounder or salmon. I saw this on GIada's show a while back and tried it. Well.......it is a family favorite. My toddler who wouldnt eat anything other than plain rice or plain pasta or if it wasnt shaped like a chicken nugget, ate it up. She now asks for it. As you can tell with the reviews, I'm definately not alone when I tell you to give this to an anti-seafood/fish person and they will lick the plate clean.

Giada,
I wanted to thank you for this recipe. I've been married for 18 years and my husband has always hated fish. It's sad because I love it and I have just cooked other things to avoid conflict. :
I made this recipe last night and my husband like it--I almost fell of my chair. Also, my three kids all liked it and actually had outbursts of "I love this" "Wow--ee" "Super good, Mom" .
Thanks for bringing fish back into my family!! I felt like a chef last night. But, the great part was--this recipe was soooo easy.
