Very flavorful. Could you bleu cheese as a subsitute!

I made this with a cheaper cut of steak and it turned out great! I didn't make the sauce since my husband doesn't like blue cheeses. I can't wait to use this technique on a filet and other cuts of steak!

My husband and I watched this episode today and decided to make this recipe for our Saturday night stay-at-home date. Wow...what a great decision! This was the best steak we have made in years and it was soooo easy to prepare. Although the sauce took longer to prepare than expected, it was worth every minute of preparation time. We will definately make this again! Thank you Ina!

Was it me or did the steaks she bought from Citarella look different from the steaks she showed at home? Also, they looked as if there were two steaks seamed together, although I don't think that was the case.

    It's definitely a recipe I'll try...different from the usual throw-them-on-the-grill method.
