I soak the meat at least 20 minutes. Add way more flavor. I also chop the meat into small dices pieces.
My husband uses plum sauce on his.
If you have ever eaten this at Tex Wasabi, then you know the home version is very good, not exact, but still awesome!

Ok this is not even close to bulgogi. With pork it is called dwaeji bulgogi. Saracha is vietnamese not Korean. True bulgogi would have kochujang. Where was the sesame oil and seeds? One tablespoon of soy sauce? Ummm no. Bulgogi is eaten with green leaf lettuce.
I really like Guy, and usaually enjoy his shows, but this episode is full of bad and wrong information. This is not bulgogi or even close. Very misleading. Very disappointed in this episode. :(

I saw this episode and was very disappointed. Authentic Korean bulgogi isn't made with pork tenderloin but with beef. The seasonings are not authentic either. While I love Guy Fieri, I agree with another poster in that he lost credibility in this episode.

This is one of my favorite recipes. My whole family enjoys it. I don't care if it is authentic Korean food or not- it's still really good.

Sriracha?! - that's not even Korean
ONE tablespoon soy sauce??? - Bulgogi is a dish that is made with a soy sauce based marinade...
For basing an episode off Korean dishes... you should have done some research.
I realize you are putting your own spin on the traditional recipe, but based on your ingredients I don't see how it would taste even close to the original...
I really liked your show, but you lost a lot of credibility from this episode.

Well, I didn't make this, since I can make Bulgogi by myself without recipes. I just looked at this recipe because I wondered whether Guy really knew how to make Bulgogi. Well, there could be a lot of versions to make it, but the ingredients list looked way off. There are several things I never use for Bulgogi. You can make it with any meat, they have different ingredients, depending on which meat you use, but I'm sorry, Guy. I like you a lot, but I think you really need to visit Seoul to see the difference between this and original dish. You will see how different they are.

Think I'd have to rank this in the "evil" category.
