We add fresh corn to the recipe, and we spice it up with fresh jalapenos in the bowl. This dish is in our regular monthly meal rotation, a staple. It's great right out of the pot or after a longer simmer -- even better the next day. Fantastic, and pretty healthy!

This is a family favorite and it always gets rave reviews from guests too. I do change it a little though. I used 2 cans black beans and I add some tomato paste to thicken it slightly. Super yummy!!

The one star is for the corn cake toppers-AMAZING! I've used them for lots of things. The chili itself- 0 stars.
It had a nasty after taste due in part to chipotle being mixed with the beer. And the acidity with the broth does NOT mix well with the lightness of the Turkey. There are many other great turkey chili recipes on this site, this is not one of them. But do make those Corn Cake Toppers!

Don't omit the corn cakes! The chili alone is tasty but with the corn cake and a dollop of sour cream on top it's fantastic. Quick and easy on a cold winter night!

My husband and I love this recipe!!! I downloaded right after it aired for the first time. I have passed it on to a number of folks after raving about it. I do have to confess (and Rachel, I hope you don't mind that I've been 'tweaking' it ever since but think the tweaks have added to the recipe. Feel free to try. First I added 1T of Cumin to kick up the smokey flavor; then came a couple of chopped up jalapenos to add to the 'chipotles in adobo'; then I added an additional can of kidney beans to help with the 'thickening';then the latest additions: 2T of brown suger (because, hey they add it or raw sugar to mole`, so why not? and a good shot of tequila toward the end of cooking (beer & tequila always go together great. I also cook it in a crockpot now which also helps with the thickening, which I know isn't 30 minutes a thicker chili is better. Have to say, it has become one uber great batch of chili.

My family absolutely loved this recipe! I read all the reviews, and prepared myself on the chilli having to much liquid. So I didnt cut back on any tomatoes, stock or beer(Corona, that gives it all the flavor. I just added some tomato paste! I just added a little at a time until I reached the thicknest I wanted. Definetly did the trick. So I suggest trying it at home! This recipe is definetly a keeper!

This is a great recipe! The kick from the chipotle is amazing. Also this was a prefect way to use up turkey and/or chicken leftovers. The hubby loves it and that is enough for me.

Having grown up on "beef" chili alone, this was the first turkey chili I ever made. I thought it was absolutely great. I used cannellini beans instead of kidney beans. Other than that, I followed the recipe. Since I try and cook healthier these days, this is the chili recipe I go to! Thanks Rachel!

I really liked the chili, but it was the corn cake toppers that really stole the show. Oh my gosh. Make these to go with everything!
