Make this for a small gathering by slicing it into small pie shapes. You can use whatever you have on had. My husband requests this sandwich all the time.

I made it for my boyfriend and our friends. They helped us move I figure I would make the night before and they all thought I bought at an Italian Supermarket! Excellent recipe for hungry guys and quick. Very filling

Made this sandwich for a party - my guests LOVED it! Great flavor in the olive salad. Not a big fan of Arugala, so I used fresh basil instead - came out great! Thanks!

This sandwich was fantastic, even though I cheated a little bit. I didn't have any olives, red bell peppers, or red wine vinegar on hand, so I bought Trader Joe's muffuletta spread and used that (it had nearly identical ingredients as Giada's olive salad. I also hate arugula, so I substituted baby spinach. This was my first time making a muffuletta, so I was extremely hesitant, but this recipe won me over.
