When I first made this recipe for my family, I added a can of tomato paste and kidney beans along with the other ingredients. Let me tell you... they fell out of their seats. My husband said that it was the best chili he had tasted. I decided to make it again for some of my classmates when we had a party. I didn't let them know that I made it and all of them loved it. This is the chili to make. I have made it four times since the beginning.

This is my all-time favorite chili recipe. I'd never made turkey chili before and since i've been trying to get my husband away from red meat, i thought i'd try it. I basically went by the recipe. The only thing I added was black and cannellini beans, diced tomatoes and an 8-ounce can of tomato sauce, i also used a whole bottle of beer instead of half. My husband loves it.

My husband wolfed this down but I thought it tasted exactly like sloppy joe filler. Way too sweet. I'm too lazy to add all this other junk the other reviewers suggested so maybe it could have been better. Not going to bother making it again. This is the second Rachel Ray recipe I've made that I didn't like. Won't try her again.

Very delicious! My whole family loved it. Like other reviewers, I added 2 cans of black beans (drained, 1 can of chopped tomatoes, garlic. I also added a little bit of tomato paste at the end to thicken it a little. I would decrease the barbecue sauce as it was on the sweeter side.

this was great chili. I ended up adding black beans and red kidney beans. it stretched out the meal and it was hearty on a cold night. my husband had left overs to take to work too! beer, BBQ sauce, hot sauce..oh man. this works!

One word, AMAZING! I didn't have beer so I used red wine... I also bought honey smoked BBQ sauce and I definitely used the corn. I found that it wasn't as soupy as I like chili so I added on a carton of diced tomatoes I'm sauce.
It's an awesome recipe with great flavor and doesn't take long at all to make. I won our office chili contest if that helps! :

This is a totally fabulous chili recipe. I am not one who uses much spice, and this is perfect. I have even started to add extra hot sauce for those "hot" lovers. I also add beans to part of the recipe at the end for those who like them. I have made this recipe for many people and they all love it. Thanks rachel

So easy and delicious! Used one package of super lean ground turkey and one regular, one red and one yellow pepper. Used half a bottle of mexican beer because that's what we had in the fridge. Topped it with a sprinkling of cheddar and onions and for me, extra hot sauce...Yum!

I used this Turkey Chili recipe all the time. People can't believe it is Turkey instead of ground beef. I used Red, Yellow and Orange peppers when I make this so it looks colorful! Instead of the corn, I add 2 cans of Red Kidney Beans. It is also best to make it a day in advance if you can. I only add 1 tbl of hot sauce if I make it for people that don't like spice. But I add the 3 tbls if making for people that like it spicy.
