I like the way this comes together quickly and then pushed into the fridge until company is ready to have it. You only need alittle to satisfy your sweet tooth. Sweeten Sour Cream? who'd have thought it would be that good!

Everything I made for Christmas dinner this year I got from food network. Before then, I had never even heard of kissel, much less what it was supposed to look like, so I went with my instincts. For me, it turned out a little runnier than I had thought it would be, but perhaps it was the way it was supposed to be, who knows... however... it was really really yummy, and everyone liked it very much. I'll definitely make this one more often, just as soon as I figure out how it's actually supposed to look.... :o P.S. What SIZE apples are they supposed to be?

We love this recipe and it couldn't be easier! I omit the sour cream all together and the dish is still wonderful. I think it tastes like an apple cobbler myself. Try it...it really is easy and great!

A really delicious dessert that is an alternative to the usual. You can use low fat sour cream and sugar substitute (but not for the brown sugar to make it low calorie, but still yummy.

This recipe was easy enough and pretty good, but nothing like what I expected. Might have been my fault...i did not have potato starch and used cornstarch. Kind of runny and not a whole lot of flavor like I thought it would have. Oh, well...Tyler, I still love ya!

I was nervous because I forgot to peel the apples before cooking, but it did not affect the end product. Also, I had a very difficult time finding 100% cranberry juice, and I settled for less. As a result the cranberry flavor was not that strong ? next time I will splurge and purchase the real thing. I added a bit of red food coloring, which gave it a pretty appearance. I also found potato starch at my local health food store. The sour cream and ginger snaps were perfect compliments to the fruit. I think one could easily make this into a pie with a ginger snap shell. Overall, the taste was fabulous and my family loved it!

I liked the swirling of the sour cream through the Kissel, and the topping with ginger snaps. I'm making Tyler's version for dinner tonight!

This was good. I had to make a few substitutions due to allergies, but they all worked out well. My sisters loved it, though my parents thought the sour cream was a bit overbearing.

Great, I used a variety of apples and used Knutsen's just cranberry. I will make this instead of regular applesauce. My kids loved it too.
