I loved the recipe - I modified it based on the advice of previous reviews... I made twice the sauce (using half crushed tomatoes and half diced tomatoes and I added a half cup of pesto for extra flavor... then I used 1.5 lbs of pasta and 500 grams of ricotta. This seemed to avoid the problem of the pasta being too dry, and it tasted fantastic.

This was a great recipe - super easy and delicious. I made a little extra tomato sauce by using 1 jar of spagetti sauce and 3/4 can of crushed tomatoes. I mixed the ricotta, pesto, and parmesan together before mixing with the pasta which made it a lot easier. Overall I would definetly make again! Great recipe Rachael Ray!

This recipe is so easy and delicious. I use it when I have last minute company coming over and don't have time to thaw out meat.

I was craving pasta one evening so I did a "pasta" search on your website and got close to 3500 results! Yikes!! This recipe was about 7 or 8 down on the list and it looked interesting so I took a peek. It looked easy enough and seemed like it would be tasty so I decided to go with it. This dish was AWESOME! It was relatively easy and tasted wonderful. My boyfriend loved it and I will definatly make it again for guests!

This was delicious, but as others have said, not very pretty to look at. Despite that, it is very good, and I'll make it again and again!

Some of the best pasta I have ever had. I changed the recipe around a bit, using homeade pesto (made with lemon juice not oil, added 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella with the ricotta, used a jar of Newman's marinara, and baked instead of broiled. It was outstanding!

This recipe makes quite a bit of food. Its easy to do and really tasty. We had it for dinner for several nights b/c we had so much left over (there's only 2 of us. It was even better the 2nd and 3rd night. We'll definitely have it again.

I made this for my boyfriend... cooked it while he studied and finished up college homework... wow... I got an amazing reaction... he loved it! Of course, anything this gooey and cheesey would have been a hit... but to add the tomato and pesto... Homerun!

So good! Even my husband (a major meat eater thinks that this meat-free dish is a keeper. I've made it with homemade pesto, and I like it a little better. And, although fresh mozzarella is a little more "melt-in-your-mouth", I sometimes use block mozzarella - cheaper, and still fine for this dish. Fed my whole visiting family - eight people with bread and salad, and even had a little left over! Quick and easy. Thanks Rachael!
