I used the basic recipie for my Easter veggie. I used a microwave covered steamer instead and used the leftover lemon from the apple sauce recipie. It was very tender and stayed a bright green. It was super easy to make and very tasty.

I really, really wanted to make this. It looked so yummy. I bought the broccolini on Saturday, but my microwave broke on Sunday! Now, I can't make it and I don't know what to do with all this broccolini! :(

This is great! I didn't even know I could make my broccolini in the microwave! One question: can I also make regular old broccoli this way?

I love these microwave recipes. I never knew that you could cook so many things in the microwave. I added bacon and a drizzle of EVOO and it was delish!!

Rachael, I love you! Thank you sooo much for teaching me how to heat broccolini in the microwave! I am especially thankful for your hints that the dish is hot when you take it out of the micorwave ("just because you cooked it in the microwave doesn't mean it's not hot!", and to be careful when removing the plastic wrap because there is steam under there! You are a genius!!

Rachel this recipe is terrific! I have never had Broccolini before today, but now it's going to be around my kitchen often.

This recipe was delicious. Slightly firm with just a hint of lemon in the background.

You really do know what you're doing! Thank you Rachel.
