    The first time I made this, I followed the recipe exactly. It was great. Then I substituted white beans for the potatoes. Still great.

    My son in college substituted venison for the chicken. He said it was out of this world.

    Served to friends last week and had just enough for a left over lunch the next day. I allowed them to decide if they wanted the tempanade...some did not.

    This was so easy to make. My husband and I both loved it. We ate it for days. I added mushrooms because we are both mushroom lovers. It turned out really well!

    I first made this for my husband and he loved it. Then I made it for my parents and my mom is adding it to her regular recipes. THEN I made it for dinner guests they all loved it. This is a "keeper" recipe! Be sure to make crispy toasts to dip in and soak up all that great broth.

    This was really good. Simple, fresh ingredients, much less time than you would expect to go into a home made soup, delightful smells when you walk in the house. I will be making this again and again.
