This was a hit with my family. Yummy and satisfying. Love the olive tapenade & crusty, buttered bread with it. Very easy to make. Does taste better if allowed to cook longer, at least an hr. Allows the potato starch to thicken 'stoup'.

Will definitely be in rotation at our house. Thanks Rachael Ray & Food Network!

Yum! I made this tonight and doubled the recipe (since I have a teenage son. It made a huge pot of soup that was delicious. I am looking forward to leftovers.

I loved all of the flavors in this dish, but felt like the pasta soaked up all of the liquid and it was more like spagetti with a light sauce than a stoup.

    My wife loved it.

Too much cilantro for me. But, still very good. I will fix without cilantro next time.

The tappenade at the end, makes it glorious! One of the best soups I've ever had.

We've made Rachel's Provencal Stoup dozens of times and it never fails to delight us or our guests with its bright, fresh flavors. We prefer the Herbs de Provence with a little lavender to add a more regional distinction. Served with or without the olive tapenade (which you can also quickly, EASILY and inexpensively make, the healthy stoup is GREAT. The stoup brings us a mouthful of memories of living abroad and walking (and eating through the delightful towns of Southern France. Provencal Stoup has become one of our family's favorite recipe repeats.

This soup isn't quick to fix but it is simply delicious. Not too heavy. I add more chicken and potatos for a scruptous soup
