I was really excited to make this recipe but it didn't live up to the much anticipated hype of my family or me.

As a seasoned cook, I was excited to find a new recipe using pumpkin. It took over 3 hours to make this soup and I could not have made something taste so similar to VOMIT if I spent weeks trying! DON'T WASTE AN EVENING WITH THIS ONE!

We have a monthly cooking club and we chose this recipe for a fall dinner. The soup took us over 4 hours to make (not what the recipe said. The only thing we liked about the soup was the aroma that filled the house while the vegetables were roasting. The flavor is discusting and people were actually gagging! This is an embarrassing soup to serve! We are disappointed that we were led astray by the positive reviews.

My boyfriend was convinced he wouldn't like this, but he ended up licking the bowl! The best part was the smell that filled the room when everything was roasting. I found it easy to make, and a good use for all that extra pumpkin I had scraped out of my Jack O Lanterns!

This winter winner soup was lovely in the bowl and delicious. It had multi steps in producing it but was a great house aroma maker and a super soup!

TURNED OUT GREAT LOTS OF FLAVOR. I MESSED UP BY ADDING ALL THE BROTH CALLED FOR IN THE RECIPE ON THE LAST STEP I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A THICKER SOUP, EMERALD WARNED OF THAT ON THE TV SHOW IT WAS TO LATE BY THE TIME I NOTICED. MY FAMILY AND GUESTS WERE IMPRESSED.
