These are the most delicious waffles we've ever eaten! These were the easiest waffles to make too! I had four people wanting seconds.

These were delicious, but I wouldn't call them insane greatness. Our waffle iron makes 4 waffles at a time and I have 2 extremely hungry little boys so doubling the recipe was a must. You also don't need to let the mix rest for 30 minutes. If you mix all of the ingredients and then turn on your iron, that should be plenty of time. Don't forget to make some extra and freeze them. Far superior to any store bought frozen waffles you will find.

These were excellent! Will definitely keep this recipe. Next time I will double it. Only made 2.5 large waffles.

This was my first recipe I used to make waffles with my new iron. They were crispy on the outside and soft and dense on the inside. My husband prefers the waffle lighter, less dense but I loved these!

Pretty good and easy, but you definitely need to spray the waffle iron before using it. I lost my first batch I made on my Waring Pro maker because they were stuck too bad. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly

My husband and I made these this morning quickly for 7 hungry Italians. We quadrupled the recipe plus had lots to eat and leftovers too! We made our own buttermilk with 4cps of 18% cream and 4 tbsp of white vinegar letting it sit for 10mins while we prepared the rest. We put 1/2 cake and pastry flour and 1/2 all purpose flour and melted butter instead of oil. We mixed the egg yolks, sugar, melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla first then add it to dry ingredients mixing thoroughly then add/fold stiff peaked egg whites to the egg yolk mixture.

This waffle totally lives up to its name. It is insanely great. I am so hooked on them. Ive made them like 8 times now in two weeks. I also made them once and served them with butter pecan friendlys ice cream . SO GOOD!!!! These waffles are so light and fluffy and have the perfect texture. And flavorwise they are remarkable.
Just to compare this to other recipes, I made a batch of Bisquick waffles and they were so much worse. Dry and also very plain.
So stick with this recipe. its the best waffle recipe youll come across!!
