This a great recipe. I made it tonight for my boyfriend's mom and sisters for their birthdays. The only thing is that if you have bigger chicken breasts as I did allow for more time. I just temped the chicken as I went to make sure it was done.
I used Emrils Mornay sauce, great on it!!

This was probably the best chicken cordon bleu I have ever had! I did sub Swiss cheese for the gruyere but don't scrimp on the proscuitto! Thanks for the do-before tips. It made the chicken easier to bread. I also took the melted butter and brushed the tops instead of adding to the panko. I cooked them for 30 minutes and then another 5 on the top rack for browning. I don't think it would have been as good with regular breading. This one is a keeper!

Chicken Cordon Bleu is my husband's favorite dish. I've tried many, many different recipes but this took the cake! This was as good or better than a restaurant dish!

Great recipe, everyone loved it including my two picky teenage girls. It was great, but a little pricey with the proscuito and gruyere, next time I'll try how good it still might be with deli ham and swiss slices.

I made this for my husband for our anniversary(his fave. I've never had this let alone cook it and it was so delicious and easy. I followed it exactly except I used parsley because I couldn't find fresh thyme or panko bread crumbs. It got great reviews from both of us & I will certainly be making this again! Thanks Tyler!

i made this cordon bleu as an alternative to turkey today and it was amazing. i wrapped the chicken last night for time saving and in hopes they would be easier to bread!! that was key. they breaded and cooked beautifully, for about 45 minutes! the only other thing i did differently was left out the thyme, as i'm not a big fan. my mother said it was the best chicken she's had! i'm flattered. thanks Tyler! i will make this recipe for years to come! happy thanksgiving. :

I had to triple this recipe so I mixed the swiss and gruyere cheese to save some money. It was so great. I made in advance and refrigerated to save on time when my guests were here. Also, the breadcrumbs did not brown but the it still tasted amazing and I got rave reviews. I will definitely make again. Thanks so much.
