    I generally don't like deep frying because of the smell and mess, but this was a very easy and tasty recipe. The gravy was delicious. Would recommend.

    The batter was quite tasty, but this was a very difficult recipe to work with. The batter was extremely messy. It was impossible to coat all of the meat in a large ziplock bag. I wound up having to put the flour mixture in a bowl. The coating didn't adhere well either. What did stick was very tasty and the steaks were tender. Sandra's shortcut gravy was delicious.

    Finally had the chance to make the Chicken fried Steak with Gravy and it was really good! I did cut the ranch in half, otherwise left the recipe the same. YUMMY
