By shear luck I caught this episode the day after Thanksgiving and made this recipe immediately. It was fabulous. No more cloudy, murky looking soup. Icing the broth really does keep it fresh and clear. What a genius!

While i didnt stay completely with the recipe, I did make a great soup I added egg noddle to the mix and dropped the sweet potato, and created a very thick almost stew, it was great!

Perfect combination of flavors and tastes. Great way to use that leftover Thanksgiving turkey. My house was full of this delicious aroma as it cooked and my family couldn't stop talking about it. I didn't have any side dish leftovers to add, so I added a box of frozen french cut green beans and orzo pasta. YUM! Michael is an amazing cook and not too bad on the eyes, either...

I cooked a turkey breast with the bone and followed the recipe. It came out great. Poured the soup over some Egg noodles. Nice added touch.

I found this recipe very adaptable to what was on hand. Enough for an extended family and friends dinner or lunch.

Very flavorful soup; wonderful use for leftover vegetables and crudite. Freezes well.
