I'm not sure why some reviews said this was not stuffing-y. I used spicy italian pork sausage but kept everything else the same. It was delicious and did seem just like stuffing, except it tasted much better.

This isn't so much a duplicate of stuffing, as much as a duplication of the comfort food quality of stuffing. In a lot of ways it is better than bread stuffing, it is excellent on its own, or with a main dish. I like to melt a little soft cheese on it and eat it as a main course.

Surprisingly, this was very, very good. I recently started a low carb way of eating and was antipating not being able to enjoy my favorite thanksgiving dishes. I found this recipe and decided to try it and I am so glad that I did. I followed the advice of one reviewer and added chicked stock. I did not add as much of the herbs that is recommended and added poultry seasoning. It turned out well and I will definitely make it again.

Made this for my boyfriend who is trying a low carb diet. He loved it, and so did I. The first time I made it I use dry ingredients, and the second time I used all fresh. Both ways are excellent.

This is a great low carb take on traditional stuffing. I've already made it for the past two holidays and plan on making it a holiday staple in my family. Delicious!

I could only find Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage---is this the right kind? I don't want to go through making it if that is wrong. Even my butcher didn't have straight "turkey sausage". (They make you give a rating to write here--It SOUNDS like 5 stars sooooo

i added lots of chicken broth to keep it moist. otherwise, tastes just like normal stuffing, it really does not miss the bread.

I made this last year with our Christmas dinner. It was so easy and tasted great. I added a little more meat (closer to a pound. But I like meat. My wife specifically asked me to make it again this year. Once you try this stuffing you will never miss traditional stuffing at all.

Instead of the califlower and squash i used traditional bread cubes. I did this because I love sausage stuffing, but was having trouble finding a good recipe for it. So if the veggies turn you off, just put in 2 cups of bread cubes and its delicious!
