Being English, I grew up on Yorkshire pudding and have tried many a variation on the recipe. I found this one to be rather heavy and they didn't rise like they should have, They looked more like Cupcakes than Yorkie Pudds ..

This is an excellent recipe. My mistake was in doubling the amount, and putting in a large baking pan.
The edges were perfect and fluffy, but the middle was soggy and flat. I would suggest next time using smaller baking pans, or perhaps even individual muffin (popover pans.
I'd definitely make it again!

I made this for a family celebration to serve with prime rib. No one had it before, so we weren't sure what it should be like, whether the recipe came out right or not. The presentation was not very good, so I almost didn't put it on the table. I'm glad I did. Everyone, including my picky 10 year old, liked it. It was kind of surprising. It has a weird texture and not a pretty dish, but definitely nice with the prime rib.

I fed this recipe, along with a prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes to the guys at work, they raved about everything. The herbs were a new spin no-one had ever had before.
