Finally, I made some delicious homemade cookies!! This recipe is so yummy and turns out exactly the way the picture shows, now my hubby can truly enjoy my masterpiece (instead of pretending to like them while crunching on a tasteless cookie Excellent recipe:

Outstanding crispy cookie with delicious flavor. Different from the normal chocolate chip cookie. More and deeper flavor.
Could not find hazelnuts which would be easy to peel but toasted the ones I found and turned out perfectly. I also used packaged Heath bits for baking and that also worked. I have had a favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe for nearly 30 years but this has now taken its place. Behold! My new favorite cookie of all.

I am not a big fan of chocolate chip cookies or toffee for that matter, but I do enjoy hazelnuts. I tried this recipe thinking I would not like them and give them away however that was not the case. This recipe produced the best cookie I have ever eaten. The flavor is phenomenal, the perfect blending of chocolate, hazelnut, toffee, oats, etc..
Grazie Giada, this is cookie perfection!

Seriously my favorite cookies of all time. I've made them at least 4 times now. And can't get enough! Everyone that I've shared them with LOVES them too!
Baking on parchment paper really helps.

I just made this recipe and love it. I did make one boo boo though. for some reason my mini chopper would not work so chopped my skor bars in the blender and got powder instead of crunchy peices. flavor is there but not the "crunch" of toffee I had hoped for. So I recomend this recipe but next time will chop my toffe by hand ha!

Great recipe. Nice texture and flavor-crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. This will be my new go-to chocolate chip cookie. Also, made a lot more than 4 dozen.

These cookies are fabulous and several notches beyond classic Toll House Cookies.

I add an extra 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats for the flavor. I increase the chopped Heath bar to 8 ounces because it's a star ingredient that deserves to stand out.
