my rolls were fat, ha. so they didn't fit on the cucumber slice. I improvised & placed them on a Carr water cracker & garnished with half a slice of the cucumber. All the flavors worked well. They were a big hit at my party last night. Cheers.

Love these, so easy and tasty. I prefer to use shallot, since it's milder than onion. To make it easier to slice, freeze for about an hour.

WHAT A DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE WITH THE BASIL. NOW ONE OF MY FAVORITES. THE PINWHEELS WERE PRETTY, BUT NEXT TIME I WILL MAKE IT ALL INTO A SPREAD.

I found it easier to put on the cream cheese then add the salmon and also for a fancier look and taste I added some caviar atop it, very upscale looking!

Also I sometimes put it on Melba toasts instead of the cucumber.

My only complaint is that they were very difficult to slice cleanly.Suggestions?

Fast, easy, & delicious, what could be better? They look great on the plate and taste even better. Everyone asks me to bring these to parties.

I made this for a quick get together one afternoon. You have to make sure you wrap them up well so they don't dry out before the party. Otherwise, very tasty and light. I think they would be nice in the summer just out of the fridge.

I love everything in this recipe. I love smoked salmon and this is such a great idea. It was very easy to make and I like the idea of rolling it. You can slice it as you want some for a few days and have a great snack. Happy to have found this.
