Iwas very disappointed in this recipe. Taste was marginal and texture was lumpy. I suspect that recipe has an error.

My first attempt at homemade eggnog was a huge success! I will definately be making this recipe again. It is time consuming but not too difficult and well worth it.

This eggnog recipe is too good. When I made it, I drank 3 whole glasses because it was so tasty and I got very very sick afterwards. I'd write more but I'm feeling too sick.

I love eggnog, but hate the plastic version in the supermarkets, so I have been buying organic eggnog. Then I ventured to make it home made using this incredible recipe. It's not too thick, yet substancial.Beating the egg whites and heavy cream to soften peaks and folding it in the eggnog mixture gives it a very nice foamy whipped topping. I think that is one of the key points to its great texture.Extremely tasty, practically a dessert. Everyone that tried it said it was by far the BEST eggnog they ever had.I agree.

I made this recipe to give to an eggnog lover... Because of diet restrictions due to a medical condition where dairy products must be kept to a minumum, I substituted liquid Carnation Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer for all of the milk and 1 cup of the cream in this recipe. I was very happy with the results... the recipe was easy to follow and the eggnog was very mild, smooth, and wonderfully delicious (I omitted the alcohol. The only disappointment was that it didn't make more, so I could keep some for myself!

While I was growing up I had a family recipe for eggnog, it got lost. I never tasted any eggnog as good. Until I found this recipe. This is one of the best eggnogs I have tasted in a long time.
