the first time i made this recipe it did come out soupy like some other peoples. I think that this recipe is so much better for gingerbread and it comes out great! but not for gingerbread men.

The adding of the boiling water at the end made this recipe way to thin and soupy to be used for cookies, even after chilling in the fridge for at least a day. Instead I poured them into my muffin tins/mini bundt pans for 30 minutes at 350 and they turned out great!

I made this dough exactly as called for.
This receipe could never be rolled out for cookies. I was very disappointed. I even tried adding more flour to make a cake out of it. It ended up being very dry.

Would look for a different recipe for cookies.

This recipe comes out too thin... it's very thin. I added an extra cup of sugar and 'poured' into the pan to make, forget making cookies from it.

One of the volumes is off: the current recipe is too wet, you would have to add 4 or 5 cups of additional flour inorder to realize the right consistancy. The flavor is perfect.
