I Love this recipe. I found it years ago when I was cooking low-carb and made them often. I strayed from the low-carb lifestyle for a long while and am now back to it. I am preparing these burgers again and lovin them more than ever. I didn't even realize how much I missed them! By the way neither my husband or myself are huge Turkey fans but these are quite the exception!!!

I try to follow a low-carb diet (from time to time. It can become pretty monotonous... When I found this recipe, it was heaven... a jazzed-up burger that WASN'T beef. Since I'm not such a fan of turkey, I tried it with ground chicken (slightly moister, I think. I loved it immediately, and began experimenting with my own amounts of ingredients, but basically sticking to George's original. I add more cheese (sometimes even several cheeses, whatever is in the fridge: cheddar, grated Locatelli & maybe some shaved provolone... I like a more kicked-up flavor. I even up the onions, garlic and the chili powder. All in all, a very satisfying burger. I don't miss the bun at all!

I made these for dinner tonight and was disappointed after reading all these great reviews. I don't know what everyone else finds so delicious. I thought they tasted like regular, boring turkey burgers with a little extra taste. Really nothing special; I'd keep looking.

These were good, but no one RAVED about them. I guess I'll play around with the spices more next time... Nice start, though!

These were outrageous! my lo-carb and lo-fat dieting family members (adult children gobbled them up! serve with a crisp green salad or veggie sticks and "what is not to like???"

I make these tasty burgers to keep myself away from the nearest fast food drive thru. I use half the cheese and they come out just as great. That may be a way to compromise if you want to use cheese as a topping. I enjoy them plain with mustard. Yum!!

Finally - a great turkey burger that's really moist. I didn't go low-carb but added 3g fiber with the bun. Also melted cheese on top for a really excellent cheeseburger. Used less chili powder than recommended and sauteed the onion and bell pepper before adding - so good!

I made these burgers with extra lean turkey meat and they were sooo good. Seriously, I did not miss the bun. I may even have them with the bun next time. Using extra lean or lean turkey you can afford to have the bun to.
