Super fast and easy. A great way to dress up ordinary marinara sauce.

I loved the ease of preparation & creamy flavor the ricotta cheese added to the sauce. However, like Kathryn in CA I could not get the tiny lumps from the ricotta to melt completely. The next time I made this, I used fresh sheeps milk feta instead of the ricotta. It was delicious. The texture was smooth as silk. The feta added a little extra flavor to the sauce & it was delicious with ravioli.

First, I am a fan of Gianda De Laurentiis and have made several of her receipes that were very good. Maybe because I did not see the episode she prepared this dish, perhaps that explains why I had lumpy sauce after I added the ricotta cheese? Must be a trick to get it to melt. I tried, still had lumps. Next time I'll put the ricotta in the food-processor first, with a little milk to thin it out before adding to the hot sauce. FYI: I added diced celery & carrot to her quick marinara sauce for more flavor. Saute them with the diced onion & garlic.

I love Giada's recipes but this one was not up to par. It was easy but was somwhat bland, we just didn't like the tast of it.

This was a really good dish! I made my own sauce to add with the cheese. We really enjoyed it!
