Pretty good! The texture was really interesting. I made it with blackberry brandy.

I also substituted vanilla extract (mixed it into batter and used apricot flavored brandy (store didn't carry Calvados. Fun n' tasty side dish. Will make this again, and again, and again. Thanks Michael >^..^<

Simple and easy to make. Finding Calvados was the most trouble. Once in hand it was fun and easy. Great taste. Best served warm but good also cooled.
