This is unusual and was well received on New Year's! The sauce is sophisticated use all the ingredients to get the full flavor and if you can make sure to saute the shrimp with the herbs de provence this really makes it tasty.

My guests were pleasantly surprised by this flavorful dip. It was so easy to put together. I decided to boil the shrimp and it still worked out wonderfully. I've never written a review before but this was such a hit at my party that I thought I would do so. Thank you Giada.

I made this dip for Christmas day and it was a huge hit with the family. They loved trying to guess what was in the dip as well

This is a shrimp cocktail for adults, with a sophisticated dipping sauce that far surpasses the boring old standard "red stuff". The maple syrup (use pure, if you can...its so much better than the fake stuff adds just the right hint of sweetness. I made this for a holiday cocktail party this weekend and it was a hit. Absolutely delicious and delightfully uncomplicated.

We love shrimp, but this sauce tasted pretty bad. My daughter said it was really yucky and she loves shrimp any way I make it!
