Grilled Cheese Sammies must have Mayo or Miracle Whip on them, Period, with a good American Cheese. Made with a homemade Tomato Soup and it is always a winner combo!!!

It's a traditional way of preparing greilled cheese, but I also like more of fusion style grilled cheese, such as one served by a food truck called Rebel Bite in LA....grilled cheese, bbq, and spciy stuff...

Add a little tomato to a provolone grilled cheese on whole wheat. Toast it on both sides with just a liiiiittle bit of butter and dunk in some good French Onion Soup. Best warm-you-up meal ever. Check out my recipe for French Onion Soup on my blog! Google: lazykitchenette

Very delicious! We used a slice of each of the three cheeses mentioned (not the guyere, and while it was very rich it was very well received.

There isn't anything new about the recipe hear! My Grandmother, Mother, Sister and so on have been making grilled cheese sandwiches this way for as long as I can remember. You need to
come up with something new, next time. As for as for me I will give this a rating of 0 sense it is nonthing new to me,
or I might rate it 4.5 stars.

Good but this calls for a bit too much cheese. A "few slices" on bottom, then "a few more slices"? Overkill. 2 slices is plenty. I sometimes add egg to it for a breakfast sandwich and you can use bacon substitute instead of the real thing. It tastes fine. Food network never mentions meat substitutes but there are many too choose from and if you can cook, you can make it taste good. Also, I toast both sides of the bread. Toast the first side lightly and flip it over before you put toppings on it. Otherwise, this is a good recipe.
