    Creamy, rich, and satisfying, this soup warms up a cold day. I used a little less cream than the recipe called for, but that didn't seem to take away from its smooth consistency.

    This is the first time I have written a review. I have made this soup twice and will put it with my favorite recipes. I did what a previous reviewer suggested and put a bay leaf in the boiling water and added 2 T brown sugar in the blender. I also added nutmeg and a dollop of creme fraiche to the bowl. Very easy and delicious.

    This recipie is a perfect soup for a Thanksgiving dinner especially because you can make it a day in advance and also it is SO easy to make and delicious to enjoy!

    my fiance has had a pretty bad record with soups, but after she made your DELICIOUS RECIPE BETWEEN HER LOVE AND YOUR GENIUSiously, AMAZING , UNBELIEVABLY PALET PLEASING SOUP i have all faith in her future experiments.

    My husband grew butternut in our garden this year so I decided to try this recipe. I baked the squash first at 400 for 40 minutes and sauteed the onion and carrots with butter first. I also added a little bit of nutmeg, too.
