I've made these a few times and everyone loves them. Such a different taste from regular potatoes. The chives adds such a nice flavor. I will definately keep making these.

I think these smashed potatoes were potentially the best I've ever eaten. I used Yukon gold potatoes and added the chives but I think next time I'll use the chive cream cheese and maybe add some garlic. A really good base recipe that you can play with all you want!

Very heavy, very bland. Made them with onion and chive cream cheese and an aggressive dose of salt and pepper. Dinner was looming near so made a last ditch effort and added bacon. An improvement, but not nearly enough to warrant making these again.

I tried Rachael's recipe for Thanksgiving this year, and even my mother, who hates cream cheese, absolutely loved it and swore we would never have potatoes any other way again! There was no need for any extra butter or gravy, they were absolutely perfect.

These potatoes were the hit of the night at Thanksgiving! I used the veggie cream--which really did make all the difference. Many of my guests asked for the recipe. This is definitely a keeper!

These are excellent! I usually don't like mashed (or smashed potatoes with the skin on. (I just don't like the skins but these were delish! My kids ate a ton and everybody asked for seconds - We'll definitely have them again. Super, duper easy!

I only made 2 changes in these, I added 3 cloves of minced garlic & used 1/3 of a large onion minced (didn't have the green onions on hand and I used soy milk instead of half & half. Ok I made 3 changes! The garlic was added because my husband likes them that way & I do too! The Yukon gold potatoes are perfect for this. Nice flavor & texture. The cream cheese adds a nice flavor without being overpowering. We'll be having these again. Thanks.
