I cooked this the other night and I thought it was excellent. I took the advice of other reviews and didn't use as much stock. The entire family enjoyed it. I can see this recipe used with all other kinds of greens.

When I looked at the recipe, I could tell it would be way too soupy with 1 C each of red wine and chicken stock. I used just 1/2 C red wine, and only a touch of chicken stock. It turned out perfectly as all the flavors came through without being "submerged" in stock.

I tried this recipe with smooth kale and it was good once the wine cooked out of it.

A sloppy, poorly constructed recipe with too much liquid and too many competing flavors. Also a very unappealing dish to look at once completed. Very disappointed in this recipe.
