    My fiance doesn't eat apples. So I just used frozen peaches. I added sugar, cinnamon and some vanilla to the peaches before adding them to the pastry. I also used rum and vanilla extract in the marscapnone. I saw this recipe yesterday morning and I just had to make it.

    This was very easy to make, and resulted in an impressive presentation! I didn't make the mascarpone, so after drizzling the honey, I just put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each one instead. My mother initially said she didn't want a whole one, but ended up saying, "I changed my mind" and ate the whole serving. My husband and I loved it, too. I'll definitely be making this again, and will have to remember it next time I have dinner guests.

    I loved this, and I also made it for Thanksgiving. It was super easy. However, it took me a while to make for about ten people. If you have a lot of people to make it for, I suggest you make no time limit for yourself!

    I made this dessert for my family the day before Thanksgiving. I wanted an easy, tasty dessert and this dish absolutely satisfied that need. The puff pastry makes for an elegant presentation...while I put together the dessert in less than 10 minutes, it looked like I'd slaved for hours on it! Nectarines were not available at my market, so I substituted a D'Anjou pear in its place. Also, I left out the alcohol. No one missed it. I will definitely make this again.
