I think it is delicious! Make some margaritas or open a cold beer, pair it with a delicious dessert & football game then go to town enjoying your homemade deliciousness!

My family loves this recipe. If I remember correctly when Daisy originally made these she used ground turkey because it is healthier. That is how we always make ours too! Yummy!

Bland and boring. Will be looking for a better picadillo recipe. Wish I had a Latina friend!

Preobably not fair, but just looking at the recipe I would have to tweak it to make it edible. I add raisins, hard boiled eggs, red bell pepper, crushed red pepper, some sugar, so that it is sweet and savory at the same time. And, of course, service with yellow rice and black beans. Whenever I make it, people come out from the woodwork for it.

My family loved this dish. I had never had picadillo before but my BF is a frequent traveler to Miami and said it was very close to the traditional. I would add some cumin next time too, and not chop up the olives too much. One note is that Cubans dont normally eat picadillo with tortillas. I will definitely make this dish again!
