I made this recipe for my husband's office and everyone LOVED it!. It was tender and moist.
I used canned corn instead of fresh, which may have made the difference in the baking time. I had to bake it for 55 minutes instead of the 35 minutes in the recipe. I will also add a little bit more cayanne pepper next time to give it a little more kick, but otherwise I will definately make this again!

I thought I would make this for a potluck at work, but the recipe doesn't seem right. The picture looks like it has onions. I read other corn pudding recipes and they sauteed the corn in butter with onions. There's nothing in this recipe to thicken it, other than cheese. Doesn't seem complete.

I followed this recipe as best I could, as it's a little confusing. I had to bake it for almost an hour and it still did not completely set up. The taste came out extremely bland even with a little corn meal. I won't be making this again.

Love this recipe! I tweaked it a little by adding a little flour, let it cook a little longer for 45min instead of 35min and I added a little butter on top when I took it out of the oven. Delicious!

Over all this was really tasty. If I had problems it was that I used frozen corn and cut the recipe in half. It was a bit spicy so next time I'd put in a little less ceyanne pepper. Also it didnt set well so I baked it a little longer. But I may have added too much milk and cream. When I try to cut a recipe I always seem to have problems as measurements are off. I do plan to make this again and again, but next time the entire recipe and with fresh corn. I know it will turn out even better.

Really nice flavor but as with several other reviews the pudding did not set, even after twice the baking time and 15 mins. standing. Have made several different corn puddings in the past so I plan to tweak this one with a bit of cornmeal and an additional egg and see what happens. Maybe differing levels of starch in the corn causing the various results??

I loved this recipe. Very easy to make, and I used canned corn verses off the cob. It does need to cook longer than what called for. I forgot to tell our guests that it may have a kick to it, so it was very interesting at the table, listening to the descriptions. Next time, I will make a double batch, it was a very popular dish, with no left overs.

this was my first time making corn pudding and i followed the recipe except i didnt have any cayenne pepper so i added a few dashes of hot sauce. i also added a little more cheese and it turned out great! i didnt have to cook my corn off the cob before i baked it like some of the other reviews said. i just cut the corn off the cob, mixed all the other ingredients together and poured it over the corn and mixed it up a little and baked as stated for 35 min and it turned out just like the picture. Neelys, keep the recipes coming i love your show and you guys are such great chefs. I cant wait to go to your restaurant!!!!!
