    I made this red wine sauce with a couple of ribeyes that we cooked in the broiler. Very tasty! I halved the recipe since we were only making two steaks. Next time around I will reduce the amount of tomato paste as the tomato flavor overshadowed the redwine flavor just a bit. I also substituted about 1/4 cup of the wine for beef stock just for a little extra flavor. Will definitely throw this together again for steaks!

    The sauce for the filet was a big hit with my friends and family at a recent get-together! They all thought the sauce was full of flavor and some even asked for the receipe! Easy to make, but comes off as very gourmet!

    This was delicious! I do not like red wine sauces but I was making dinner for some of my husband's friends and needed something good and easy. This was it! A definite keeper in my recipe collection.
