    Tasty recipe. I have made this recipe several times. Never tried it with clove though: I have used nutmeg every time instead. These are absolutely fabulous with nutmeg.

    I am looking for a spectacular triple chocolate cookie. This one is very good. The cloves add depth to the flavor. Without it I think you'd just have a flat mouthful of chocolate.

    I was sceptical about adding cloves to a ccc recipe. My instincts were correct. I was disappointed that I had spent the extra $ on expensive chocolate, only to have the chocolate flavor overshadowed by the clove flavor. I will make again, but w/o the cloves and I'm sure they will be delicious!!

    I did not care for the cloves in the cookie. Next time I will omit the cloves.

    yum ilove these cookies they are the best. I bakes them for a local bake off and won! I am now junior division champion for the second year on a row!
