Saw Paula make this on the Jay Leno show the other night, it looked so good I knew I had to make it. I 'm glad I did. It was very moist and flavorful. I left out the salt as part of the house seasoning and used the Hint of Salt Ritz crackers since some reviewers had mentioned the recipe was too salty. I also sauted the onions and peppers slightly before adding to the meat mixture. Didn't make the sauce (hubby not into sauces but the meatloaf didn't need it, was delicious as is. This will be my number 1 recipe for meatloaf from now on!

Good grief, this is the Russian Roulette of meatloaf recipes.

This recipe is great! After reading several reviews, I skipped the house seasoning (to eliminate a little salt, and I added an egg. I also didn't have bread in my house, so I skipped that part too! I used 85/15 organic beef, and it wasn't greasy at all. I did have to cook my meatloaf for an hour though to get the internal temperature to 160F. But it was moist and delicious and worth the wait! Oh, and this recipe makes a ton of sauce, so next time I will prepare some steamed broccoli or similar veggie to dip into the sauce. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

I have been making meatloaf since I can remember, but certain ingredients in this recipe made this by far the best meatloaf night ever! Since it was what I had on hand, I used meatloaf mix instead of ground beef and I used Golden Mushroom soup instead of Cream of Mushroom, and I actually added the cheese to the meat mix rather than the sauce since I didn't read through the entire recipe first, but it was a good "oops". I'm not a fan of bell pepper so I did not use it but it was still perfect! I am making it again tonight by request! Oh, and the bread slices at the bottom of the pan to soak up the fat from the meat??? GENIUS!! I save my bread "heels" now simply for meatloaf night!

My husband and boys devoured the meatloaf. My husband took leftovers to work and a co-worker told him she doesn't like meatloaf but likes this one.

This recipe is wonderful. Although I cooked my meatloaf on a small broiler pan, covered with foil. I used bread crumbs and added an egg for insurance. Skipped the bread thing. The last half hour I baked uncovered. The grated cheese & sour cream make this one very special. i will always do it from now on.

Very good and I am not a fan of meatloaf. I did however leave the sauce off of it, I thought it was very tasty without it. My husband loved the recipe.

This recipe is great for when you have no eggs and still want a great tasting meatloaf..

However ad my twist to this recipe to add some extra taste etc

Go half & half with the meat. Half Ground Turkey & Half Italian Sausage

Rub Italian herbs mix to the top of the loaf before cooking to really give it a BAM of taste.

Give it a try. Your taste buds will love you for it

I ate this at your Tunica Buffet and figured it couldn't be as good as my meat loaf. I confess, yours is even better than mine! Am making it for company tonight!
