Rachel does not disappoint with this fabulous version of Shepherd's pie. I grew up on the bland version of Shepherd's pie with cream of mushroom soup and canned peas. This dish leaves my old recipe in the dust. I used hot paprika which gave it a little kick! Love it!

This was yummy and a hit with the family. I didn't have enough ground turkey, so I used some ground pork and that was great. We'll be making this again!

Made this last night for friends. Big hit! I'll be making Shepherd's Pie again, but, next time, it'll be Racheals' Meatless with Horseradish-Cheddar Potatoes. You can't go wrong with her recipes. And the best part is you can make it your own with small changes. Thanks from a cook who hasn't cooked in awhile.

This was so yummy!! Its not quite a five because its not knock your feet off good, but it is pretty darn close for a quick week-night meal. I wish I could give 4.5 stars because it is better than that. I will definitely be making this a regular meal in our house, and the leftovers were amazing for lunch - so tasty and filling! I didnt have any sour cream, so I subbed in some buttermilk - it made the mashed potatoes a little runny, but it still baked up nicely. Great recipe!!

Love this recipe! I've made it about 4 times and think I'll make it again for dinner tonight! No edits here, Rachael got it right the first time. :

Followed the recipe, came out wonderful! Everyone enjoyed it! I will make again...takes longer then 25 min, lot of chopping. Meat mixture was a little more soupy then I expected, but it was yummo!

If I was Rachael Ray I would expect to cook this in 30 minutes, but I'm not. I am not in a race. I like to take my time and I absolutely disagree that her recipes should be rated on the fact that you can or cannot fix it in 30 minutes. That is just taking the whole thing way too literally!! Calm down.
That being said, I really enjoyed the flavor of the turkey, it was so delicious! I cooked extra and used it to stuff my acorn squash. I think the meat makes a great stuffing for many things and I will keep this recipe in my permanent file.

I was a little put off by some of the comments, but I tried this recipe anyway. Sure, it takes a little longer than half an hour to cook, but oh my gosh is it worth it. This is going to be a new favorite in my house!
