We are a big italian family but only drink usually lemonchello, this was a nice and fun summer drink.
I used fresh berrys and let them make a syrup of their own. I smooshed the berrys with ither a electric beater (beater or a wire wisk then let them sit in 1/4 to a little more of sugar to make their own syrup. Then used the simple syrup as directed.
Also to strain I used one of the strainers that has a rotating knob on the side and it made it SOOOO much easier, u might get a few seeds from the rasp. but you wont be able to tell the difference since most of the seeds come out in the sifter and you can enjoy the blue berrys using a sifter :
I used champ. as well and a good dessert fizzy wine, wow. This was great. Thanks Giada

I used this idea for my daughters high school grad party so instead of sparkling wine we used sparkling apple cider and sparkling water. It was a huge hit !!! Everyone thought I was genius and I did give the credit to the foodnetwork.

this was very tasty and easy to make. I needed to stir the fruit mixture into the alcohol a little but otherwise, this was a treat!

This was a big hit. For those of you who have access to Trader Joe's, they stock jars of apricot, peach, mango and marionberry sauce. Just buzz in the blender, and perhaps thin out a bit. Doesn't mix so completely with the wine as does cassis, but that didn't stop the guests from refilling their glasses.

I served cherry, strawberry, peach and blueberry, and people loved them. The blueberry was a bit too thick and quite sweet, but with a really dry champagne it worked well. I thinned it out with some of the simple syrup. Just plain water probably would have been good too. This recipe was a great jumping off point for some creative beverages.

I made these at my sisters wedding shower, but i just used a dab at the bottom of the glass. People either loved it or didn't care for it, but they look nice. I thought they were delicious

I liked the peach the best. Would work well for a shower or brunch.
