I love Salmon and this recipe really was great. Not too much fuss and wonderful melt in your mouth flavor. I wish I could do the plank cooking more often but because it cost me $10 in addition to the Salmon I won't. Still a nice recipe when you want a special dinner.

Very tasty and easy to make. I used a very concentrated Balsamic Vinagar and this combined with the honey was fantastic. Will make many times in the future. Thanks. (PS: only used one teaspoon not a tablespoon of salt

My husband doesn't like Salmon unless its cooked like this. We usually grill ours and it comes out just amazing!!

The combination of flavors in this recipe is terrific. It's extremely simple to prepare, too. I didn't use the cedar planking method, instead opting to bake in the oven on a sheet pan. I imagine it is even better planked. This one is a keeper.

Rave reviews -- guests commented on the salmon over everything else and some of them were real Seattle experts on plank salmon. This was easy and nice to be able to prepare ahead of time. We seasoned the plank with the salt and rub spices and then used the honey balsamic glaze as basting. We kept it in the oven just until the top of the salmos carmelized. Thank you so much Michael!

Excellent dish. I cooked this outdoors on my barbeque in some heavy duty foil. SO good!

Made this last night for three friends. First time I've "planked" anything. Got untreated cedar from Home Depot. Put the grill on high and placed the plank "good" side down for a few minutes. Then brushed the "good" side with olive oil and put on the salmon. Turned heat on grill to medium. About 15 minutes later we were eating and my friends were raving!
