This recipe was super easy and delicious! My husband raved about the flavor of the potatoes and I mashed up the potatoes a little before pouring just a little butter over the top. For anyone making this recipe and unsure of how long to boil the potatoes, I boiled my potatoes for about 20-25 minutes and they were perfect.

If you are cooking fingerling potatoes for the first time, and want a simple no nonsense preperation method, this recipe is for you. This recipe is no fuss, no hassle, and no frills. It's basic, tasty and you can add your own personal touches such as dill or sour cream on the side. You will have a side dish that is impressive without being too complicated or over the top. I really think that boiled or steamed fingerlings are perhaps the tastiest preperation method and adding too many complications to the recipe takes away from a potato that is naturally flavorfull and delicious. I really like this basic recipe allot.
