Unbelievably delicious and moist even without the frosting! Followed the super easy recipe exactly and they turned out perfectly. Had to keep my 9 yr old son away from them. My batch made 23 regular-size muffins. Will most definitely make again!!!

I looked up banana recipes since i had 4 over-ripe ones in my fruit basket. Giada's recipes are always good! I didn't have any cream cheese or marscapone so i made them without the frosting. The batter was enough for a batch of mini muffins too so i did some with shaved chocolate over the top, some with honey on the top and some with blueberries. They are delicious!

Great recipe! Loved that it didn't need butter! Added mini choc chips for the 24 mini muffins, and regular choc chips for the full size muffins. Didn't require frosting. Might cut back the sugar a bit next time. They didn't last long.

This is such a foolproof, easy recipe! I thought the recipe called for a lot of sugar. That is, until I made the frosting. The frosting calls for no sugar, just honey, and not too much. Put together, it creates a great balance. These were addictive and so hard to stop eating! If you are only making the muffins and not the frosting, I think you could get away with adding a bit less sugar. For the frosting, I almost skipped the mascarpone, but I'm so glad I didn't. It adds a different texture and flavor. It's subtle, but worth it. If you can't find mascarpone, no worries. Cream cheese will do.

absolutely wonderful muffins...I followed the recipe exact. The just wanted a little more frosting so I used whole stick of butter, half of regular size cream cheese, overflowed a 1/3 measuring cup of mascarpone cheese, and extra honey...this is my third time making them. And the time is pretty spot on.. 25 minutes. Thank you once again Giada! Before I made the muffins I made her fussili pasta dish with spinach and tomatoes..mmmm

An absolutely delicious and moist recipe for banana muffins. If you ever had trouble with recipes for banana bread, this is the one to try. I love nuts in my muffins, so I added 1/3 chopped walnuts and baked it for 22 minutes. I will definitely make this recipe again.

I couldn't find mascarpone to make the frosting...so I just used cream cheese. When I was pouring the oil, I thought 1 cup seemed a bit much - but not so -the muffins come out fluffy and moist! The cinnamon and nutmeg flavors make the muffins excellent!

Made this without the frosting due to not having all the ingredients for it. It was yummy! It was enjoyed by all. The color seemed a little light, so I may use some brown sugar next time for the white.

These muffins are fantastic. My family really enjoyed the frosting. I added a few chocolate chips because we always enjoy them in our banana muffins.
Can't wait to share them with my work group.
