I prepared the pesto while the pasta was cooking it was so easy & quick. I served it to guests and they couldn't believe that I made it. They all loved it.

I doubled the recipe, using roasted garlic, roasted pine nuts and fresh ground pepper. I also substituted romano, as I didn't have parmesan. It's very good.
Use some new, freeze some for later.

This pesto recipe is very simple and tastes great just the way it is written.

I made this for a house-warming party for a few friends and it was wonderful! It's easy to add cooked chicken and make it a full meal.

This was unbelievably easy and delicious!
I served this over spinach linguine on St Patty's day, along with several other green 'themed' dishes.
The scent alone makes your mouth water! You have GOT to try this, if you like pesto!

This is my favorite pesto ever. I've used roasted pecans instead of pine nuts and it was also delicious.

Amazing recipe-it really pays to use all fresh ingredients- especially the freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.

This recipe was wonderful and easy to make. For some reason, I have never made homemade pesto before...I certainly will from now on. I added some sliced ripe olives, chunks of fresh tomato and feta cheese to the pesto and mixed it all with penne. Accompanied by fresh bread....pure heaven. The color and aroma made this a sensual pleasure! Thanks.

I actually didn't make the pasta part of this dish - only the pesto. I was making a snack for guests that we had over. (I toasted bagette slices, spread them with cream cheese, and topped with this pesto sauce and sprinkled the finished "product" with parmesan cheese.

Our friends absolutely LOVED it! I can't wait to make it again!
