Even after doubling the specified amount of lemon zast and poppy seeds, these were really blah. Definitely moist, but hardly any lemon flavor at all. May try again, using three times the amount of lemon zest.

These were VERY light in texture, but also very light on flavor. I added more lemon zest than suggested, and it still had too mild a taste for me. Won't make them again.

lovely muffins not hard to do either very light and fluffy, butter slightly more difficult but well worth it.

These muffins turned out very moist. They tasted great. The raspberry butter was delicious. These muffins are now a favorite in our house.

Muffins have nice flavor... a little dry. An easier jam to make is to just mix room temp butter with raspberry jam.

I had attempted to make lemon poppy seed muffins from another recipe and they were dry and had no flavor - these, on the other hand, were wonderful! They were moist, and tasty! I made them the night before and they were still good for breakfast the next morning.

this was so easy, yummy, light muffins.

i substituted strawberries for the raspberry and it was just wonderful.
