This brown rice recipe takes all the guesswork and complications seen in many other recipes away. Just put it in the oven and forget about it until the timer goes off. The taste is perfect - I highly recommend using vegetable or chicken stock in lieu of water - makes the flavor perfect!

Before I starting using this recipe, rice making was a hit or miss project. Nine times out of 10 the rice was too hard or mushy. Now I know is will come out just right besides being so easy.

This recipe has changed the way I eat rice. I have tried brown rice before, knowing that it is better for me, but it always came out more like "oatmeal gone bad". This recipe is fool-proof. And I absolutely love it! This method really brings out the nutty flavor of the rice, while keeping the texture perfect. It's also great because I can just keep it in the refrigerator and have rice all week long.

I have made this a number of times since seeing the recipe and it turns out perfect EVERY TIME! I have even played around with the number of servings (1/2 recipe, whole recipe and double recipe and have not had a problem yet-time stays the same and the results are perfect.

This is such an improvement over stove-top cooking. Cooks perfectly and there's no pot to scour (I lightly spray my cooking dish so it's a snap to clean up!
