I think it's hilarious that there are 212 reviews for a baked rice recipe using just 4 ingredients However, it is the best and I will never cook brown rice using any other method! Perfect every time and I could just grab a spoon and eat the whole thing!

What an easy and fool proof way to cook rice. Where has this been all my life? We used chicken broth to add a little flavor.

This recipe just turns out perfectly every time! I do however dress this up a bit by using chicken broth instead of water and putting sliced green onion on top of the rice before cooking.

Turns out perfect everytime! Thank you, always fun trying out one of your recipes! I usually make this the night before, than add crumbled bacon and assortment of veggies the next night for dinner!

This bakes beautifully in my 1.5 qt. ceramic covered dish. I don't use the aluminium foil. Tasty~!

Even though I own and often use a rice cooker this is my "go-to" brown rice recipe. The texture of the final product is flawless. Each grain of rice allows for every conceivable use; side dish, soup etc... As single guy I love being able to make (extra rice for multiple uses. I'm just adding my vote to an exceptional and simple brown rice recipe.

All my other attempts/methods for cooking brown rice have failed--stove top, pressure cooker, microwave, rice cooker, steamer, you name it!-- all ended in a sticky paste-like mess! Alton's method IS THE BEST for cooking brown rice that I've found!! The rice comes out perfectly cooked and ready to use in any dish. For tastier rice, use some sort of broth/stock, (chicken, beef, vegetable, etc., as the cooking liquid. You WON'T be disappointed.

The only way to cook brown rice. I also like to add curry, lentils, onion, garlic and tomato....delicious!

Tried making brown rice following the package directions, you could hang wallpaper with it then I found this recipe, it is the BEST, make it all the time. It is my daughter's favorite side. Have recommended this recipe to family and friends, they love it too. Thanks Alton!
