the use of apples reduces the need for sugar: excellent twist on the classic recipe!

This recipe was unbelievably good. I made it for a party and they finished the punch bowl 3x over, ate the fruit and pretty much lapped up the remaining dropplets. Needless to say - this is now a requirement at every get together.

This turned out better than Sangria I've had in restaurants. Yummy!

This is the best sangria I've ever made or had. My friends also enjoyed it a lot. Its easy and tastes great. Its smooth and lite.

Recipe is delcious and I made three batches with two bottles of the mineral water divided amongst the three (to avoid the watered down flavor as was mentioned in other reviews. Enjoy!

I agree with the previous comment. Amount of sparkling water suggested in the recipe is too much. I actually didn't use it. Instead, i put a few ice cubes in my glass. My husband loved this sangria! We will have to stock up red wine, so we can make more sangria!
