I had never made short ribs before but I was looking for something a little bit like pot roast. OMG this is wonderful. I was surprised at how much trouble I had finding Bone in Short Ribs. But after driving all over town I finally found some. Added some fresh carrots. Served over some egg noodles. Wonderful!!!

The short ribs came out very tender(falling off the bone and flavorful! I will be making these again, although not too soon, the beef short ribs are expensive! But, it was well worth the cost!

WONDERFULL!!! I tried this recipe tonight. I didn't have any short ribs, so I used a chuck roast instead. It was wonderful!!! My husband loved it and said this one was a keeper. I did add two to three extra carrots and used a 28oz can of diced tomatoes. Other than that, I followed the recipe as written. It came out perfect. The flavors were awesome. Once again, the Neely's have done it again. Keep us the great work!

Very tasty. And, I will fix for a party on Monday. Gina and Pat are good cooks and they need to leave the "Love Talk" at home.

These were very good! I had some short ribs in the freeze to use up. Never making them before, I had to find a good recipe to make. Seeing that this was a Neely's recipe, I knew it would be good! I only had 3 lbs of meat but made the full sauce recipe. I used beef broth instead of chicken, and I only had fresh rosemary in place of the thyme. I do recommend if your not serving this over grits, rice, mashed tators, etc. to make a slurry of corn starch and water to add to the sauce at the end to thicken it up. If short ribs are hard to find and expensive around you, like they are here, just use some good pork ribs. Great recipe and flavorful!

I made this recipe 3x now , the only thing i changed is the amount of time I cooked it in the oven to that the meat stays on the bone a little. Otherwise it is perfect & delicous !
    Way to go Neeley's !!!

I made these boneless beef sort ribs and they were mouth watering good. My son usually cooks the ribs , but he didn't feel good. This meat is outrageously good. Tender and tasty.
