This is one of my family's favorite things. I made it a few years ago for our Christmas Eve celebration which we have every year with finger foods. Have made it every year since then by popular demand. Can't seem to make enough, they are always gone within 30 minutes. Very easy to make and absolutely delicious! Merry Christmas.

This is my 'go to' stuffed mushroom recipe, but I use leftover dressing instead of boxed! The flavor and ease of preparation can't be beat.

All my family and friends are delighted whenever I turn these out! My son always wants to take some home (his wife doesn't cook, bless him so I make extra so he can. YUMMY!!

And, btw, I use Italian sausage and make the recipe as written except I add some extra sauteed chopped mushrooms. The sage and parmesan cheese just put the taste over the top!

I had never tired deer meat, but when my husband came home with some deer sausage I needed a recipe to make it with. When I saw Sandra make this on tv, I decided to try it. It was sooooooo good.

I didn't have leeks so I substituted scallions; everyone loved it at the New Years Eve party.

I rarely cook but when I saw Sandra Lee doing this recipe on the show I said why not try it. I did it for a Christmas Eve dinner and it was a hit! No one could believe I did it cause I don't cook! It was an easy recipe and everybody loved it. Guests where asking me for the recipe. The leftover sausage stuffing was great the next day. I used the leftover stuffing and mixed it with alfredo sauce..and made pasta sauce with it..tasted awesome too! Doing the mushrooms again for New Years Eve dinner party.

Do you find that you can't taste your own food like others do? I thought they were a little bland but the group I served them to ate them up. I also used sage sausage vs fresh sage and italian sausage. I'm not sure I used enough cornbread stuffing because they were a little moist. Could be the finely chopped fuji apple I added to it. ??? I made the stuffing the night before and let the flavors all blend together the night before the party. Felt they needed something else so added French's fried onions to them just before stuffing into the mushrooms. Like I said, the crowd ate them up so I guess they were good. People were confessing how many they ate to me. Hey man, eat 'em all! That's what they're for! I still thought they needed something more, maybe as basic as a little more salt. All in all, a success. No one asked for the recipe but then again, no one else in this group cooks.
